Julia joined Ryan Labs in 2017 as an Analyst in the Client Service and Strategy division. In this role, Julia creates financial diagnostics and quantitative analysis for institutional pension plans, pitchbooks for current and upcoming strategies, and RFP/RFI responses to consultants. In addition, she updates quarterly composite data, assists Senior Consultants in fulfilling client requests, and supports the index team in preparing financial information.
Previously, Julia held various internship roles as a Financial Analyst at Columbia Records, Investment Analyst at Prudential Financial, and a Wealth Management Analyst at UBS. Throughout her experiences, Julia has supported internal and external client needs, improved internal spreadsheet functionality, and analyzed large portions of client data through quantitative-driven analysis. Prior to entering the financial service industry, Julia spent two years teaching high school mathematics in East Harlem through the New York City Teaching Fellows and coordinating the NYC Mentorship Program with Columbia University.
Julia holds a B.A. in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics from Baruch College and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida.
